There are 3 different benefits of having Solar Panels:

Feed-In Tariffs (FITs) .......Green Energy Forever
Feed-In Tariffs were introduced by the Government to encourage the use of renewable energies.
Solar PV Power installations qualify for this tariff and as an MCS Installer we are authorized to allocate the tariff to you once we have satisfactorily carried out your Solar PV installation.
You will currently be paid 43.3 pence for every unit of electricity which you generate. This is applicable to all new retro-fit installations until April 2012. This sum is index linked & guaranteed for 25 years.

For example.. Feed-In Tariff (FITs)Government statistics show that the average house in the UK consumes 3,300 units of electricity each year. This would mean that you could earn up to £714 in Feed-In Tariff just for generating electricity - whether you actually use it or not!
In addition to the FITs the electricity you generate is completely free and could cut your electricity bill in half. If you consume 3,300 units of electricity each year this could save you £214 in electricity charges each year.
Export Tariff The export tariff earns you will also be paid 3p for every unit you sell back to your electricity supplier. So when you're at work or on holiday your system is earning money for you!
